• The EMNRCD serves 13 cities in East Maricopa from Cave Creek down to Queen Creek and out to Superior. If you are a farmer or rancher and need guidance on a project contact us and we may be able to help!
  • The Desert Willow is working with several groups to develop a sustainable garden. When completed the garden will be used by Desert Willow as an educational facility.

School Tours Now Available!

We can host 60 students per tour and have space available for students, teachers and parents to eat lunch before departure. Our sustainable garden is a place where students learn all the important science behind our desert ecosystem. All of the curriculum taught on site follows Arizona Education Standards!Teachers get to choose two lesson plans that they would like for their students to learn.

Topics Include:

Wildlife, Wind & Solar Energy, Plant Parts, Native American Culture and Water Conservation
